Just taking a nap in the sun.
Concepts for Alpenland. The left one I drew first. I showed it to a friend and she immediately told me that the stones on the stairs are not believable. Also the bowl looks like a fruit bowl, but intended to look more like plants in a bowl-shaped pot. Maybe because they grow too high, so they’d need deeper roots to be believable. Also she didn’t recognize the background as a window and a wall. I drew the scene again, trying to fix those issues.

The boy spends autumn and winter with the deer man at his tower home. He makes friends with one of the pine monsters. Together they collect wood.
